Yangjiang Hosts Safety Training for Fastener Industry

To effectively enhance the safety production management and emergency response capabilities of its member enterprises, the Yangjiang Fastener Industry Association successfully hosted a special training session on November 17, themed "Safety Production Prevention and Emergency Rescue for Sudden Illness Incidents." The training was organized by the Yangjiang Central Branch of Ping An Property & Casualty Insurance Company of China, with co-support from Guangdong Cross-Standard Building Technology Co., Ltd. It attracted active participation from representatives of numerous member enterprises. Through a combination of "expert lectures" and "interactive Q&A," participants engaged in an immersive learning experience on safety knowledge and emergency skills practice, resulting in a lively atmosphere and notable effectiveness.

This training was not a routine general education effort; its preparation demonstrated a high degree of precision and foresight. During the planning phase, the association took the lead in coordinating with several representative member enterprises to conduct systematic safety risk surveys directly on the production front lines. The surveys focused on real safety pain points in the daily operations of fastener manufacturing companies, comprehensively covering areas such as equipment operation standards in metal processing workshops, fire safety management in raw material and finished product warehouses, and the prevention of and response to sudden health events—such as cardiovascular and cerebrovascular conditions—that may be triggered by high-intensity, prolonged work shifts. Based on detailed survey findings, the association precisely identified the core training needs and specially invited senior expert lecturers with deep theoretical knowledge and extensive practical experience in the safety production field to design a full set of customized teaching content. This ensured that the training was practical, targeted, and effective.

In the core session on "Safety Production Prevention Training," the invited expert delivered an insightful lecture on the theme "Production Safety Risk Prevention and Hazard Inspection in the Fastener Industry." Closely aligned with the process characteristics of the fastener industry's core production stages—including cold heading, hot forging, thread rolling, electroplating, and heat treatment—the lecturer used real typical accident cases to vividly and profoundly analyze the root causes of common safety hazards and their potential severe consequences. Additionally, the course incorporated the latest revised Work Safety Law, providing a detailed interpretation of legal provisions closely related to manufacturing enterprises and clarifying the primary responsibilities and statutory obligations that companies bear in safety production. This offered clear guidance for enterprises to build compliant safety management systems.

The subsequent interactive Q&A session brought the training atmosphere to its peak. Participating enterprise representatives actively raised questions based on specific issues and challenges they encountered in workshop management, equipment maintenance, and employee protection. The expert provided patient and detailed answers to each question and offered highly actionable, customized solutions for hazard inspection and control, tailored to the unique production scenarios of enterprises of different scales and product lines. What was even more valuable was that during the exchanges, representatives from some outstanding enterprises voluntarily shared their effective safety management practices and experiences, fostering a positive interactive environment of "jointly discussing challenges and sharing experiences." This effectively resolved many practical difficulties that enterprises face in implementing safety management systems.

The resounding success of this training not only enabled participants to systematically master knowledge of safety production risk prevention and emergency rescue skills for sudden illnesses but also further reinforced the core philosophy of "safety first, prevention-oriented, and comprehensive management" at the ideological level. It injected new safety momentum into the sustained healthy development and transformation of Yangjiang's fastener industry and laid a solid foundation for establishing a long-term industry-wide safety production mechanism. Participating enterprise representatives generally agreed that the training was substantial, case-rich, and highly relevant. Many stated that upon returning to their companies, they would immediately organize internal training and dissemination sessions to translate the acquired knowledge and skills into concrete actions for enhancing overall employee safety awareness and emergency capabilities, jointly building a solid and reliable safety defense line for the higher-quality and more sustainable development of Yangjiang's fastener industry.
