CIHS 2025 Boosts the Global Hardware Industry

The 2025 China International Hardware Show (CIHS) concluded successfully on October 12 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. This edition brought together 2,977 exhibitors from 16 countries and regions, covering an exhibition area of 120,000 square meters. It attracted 77,016 professional visitors from 123 countries and regions, including 5,945 overseas visitors. These figures fully demonstrate CIHS's strong influence as a leading global hardware exhibition.

Against the backdrop of a complex and volatile international situation and challenging trade environment, this edition showcased the resilience and vitality of China's hardware industry. During the show, various hardware product areas were bustling with activity, and professional buyers from around the world conducted in-depth and efficient negotiations with exhibitors. Many exhibitors stated that the high match rate of visiting clients led to on-site inquiry conversions that significantly exceeded expectations.

Ma Qunze, General Manager of Hebei Longyao Qinglongjian Nailing Co., Ltd., said that during the exhibition, he reached purchasing intentions for multiple containers with customers from Japan, Azerbaijan, and Southeast Asia. Luannan Zhengfeng Building Materials Co., Ltd., a first-time exhibitor, also secured a cooperation intention from a UK customer at the show. The company's strategy of adapting products to different international markets was well received by overseas buyers.

The "China Hardware Brand Global Sourcing Summit & Precision Matchmaking for Global Supply and Demand" became one of the highlights of the show, achieving on-site intended transaction amounts exceeding $80 million, receiving more than 200 sample orders, securing invitations for factory visits for more than 30 companies, and signing 15 regional agency agreements. These results injected confidence into the subsequent development of participating companies.

Well-known domestic companies such as Great Star, Wendell Power, Hongbao Tools, and Zhongtian Da appeared together, showcasing the cluster advantages of Chinese hardware manufacturing. Weihai Power Yujie Tools Co., Ltd. said that it received a large number of business visitors from Belt and Road countries this year and achieved good exhibition results. Zhongshan Qinglian Company also noted changes in customer structure and will actively adjust its market strategy to adapt to new trends.

The active participation of international brands further raised the show's level of internationalization. Companies such as Germany's KUKKO Werkzeugfabrik, France's DIAGER, and the UK's Avron used the exhibition to expand their business contacts in the Chinese market. Overseas exhibitors generally agreed that CIHS provides a high-quality platform for understanding the Chinese market and finding cooperation opportunities.

More than 30 special events held during the show created a diverse exchange matrix. The "Sai Si Innovative Quality Products" evaluation event selected 126 innovative products. The "Golden Hook" Lock Design Competition received 39 finalist works. The International Lock Master Competition attracted more than 200 professionals. The first China Hardware Brand Global Sourcing Summit issued an industry declaration for going global and launched a strategic cooperation initiative called the "China Hardware Brand African Alliance."

Notably, the Istanbul Hardware Manufacturers and Dealers Association from Turkey actively organized 38 purchasing professionals to visit the exhibition, reflecting CIHS's recognition in international professional circles.

This edition of the show not only displayed the latest products and technologies in the hardware industry but also demonstrated the global competitiveness of China's hardware manufacturing industry through tangible trade results. Booth reservations for CIHS 2026 were very active on-site, fully reflecting the industry's high recognition of CIHS's platform value.

Zhang Dongli, Chairman of the China National Hardware Association, said that the exhibition has made new improvements in all aspects this year and will continue to optimize exhibition services in the future, helping more companies enter international markets. Sebastiano Rosito, Vice President of Koelnmesse, believes that CIHS has become a core platform connecting the global hardware industry.

This three-day industry event not only provided a business matching platform for domestic and overseas companies but also injected new momentum into the development of the global hardware industry. Building on this year's success, CIHS 2026 will continue to expand in scale and deepen innovation, making new contributions to promoting cooperation and development in the global hardware industry.
