CFN Stands Out at Istanbul Fair, Aids Enterprise Global Expa
To help Chinese fastener manufacturers explore emerging markets in Europe and Asia, and to establish direct connections with international buyers, Chinese Fastener Network (CFN) dispatched a professional team to the Istanbul Hardware Fair. The event was grandly held at the Istanbul Expo Center from November 19 to 22, 2025. During the exhibition, the CFN team actively engaged with visitors at booth 4b 11-6, systematically promoting the 43rd issue of their meticulously compiled all-English publication, China Fastener Magazine (CFM), to global buyers. This attracted numerous professionals for on-site exchanges, effectively facilitating commercial interaction and information sharing between the Chinese and international fastener industries.
The Istanbul Hardware Fair is one of the largest and most comprehensive hardware and tool exhibitions in Turkey, held annually. This year's fair covered an exhibition area of 24,000 square meters and gathered approximately 400 exhibitors from 19 countries and regions worldwide, demonstrating significant industry influence. The exhibitor lineup featured top-tier international brands such as BOSCH, KNIPEX, and AEG. Notably, the China pavilion was located in the same main hall as these leading European brands, providing Chinese enterprises with a valuable platform to showcase their products on equal footing and exchange ideas with international brands.
As a highly influential professional media and service platform in China's fastener industry, CFN focused on showcasing the latest 43rd issue of the all-English CFM magazine, accompanied by specially designed promotional tote bags. These professional materials became a highlight at the booth, attracting international buyers, manufacturers, and industry experts seeking to cooperate with the Chinese supply chain. Through on-site distribution of materials, in-depth communication, and demand matching, the CFN team successfully acted as an "industry bridge." This helped many Chinese fastener companies that could not attend the fair achieve effective overseas exposure for their brands and products, while securing direct business opportunities.
From a macro-market perspective, a comprehensive analysis of official Turkish import and export statistics for fasteners from January to June 2025 reveals a significant trade surplus in fastener products. Both the monthly export value and volume were substantially higher than imports. This phenomenon reflects the continuous enhancement of Turkey's domestic fastener manufacturing capacity and the improvement of its industrial chain. It may also indicate that Turkey is absorbing some orders previously destined for traditional manufacturing hubs like China, thereby playing an increasingly important role in the global fastener supply chain.
Observing the data trends, Turkey's fastener import and export activities exhibited similar fluctuation patterns in the first half of 2025, with a certain degree of decline mid-year. Specifically, both import and export activity peaked in April or May, followed by a synchronized and significant drop in both volume and value in June. This synchronous fluctuation is likely related to the cyclical softening of global industrial demand. As the world's largest fastener producer and exporter, the supply and demand dynamics, price competition strategies, and export policy adjustments in the Chinese market are undoubtedly crucial external variables influencing global trade flows and scale.
