[Abstract]:Guangdong Fastener Association's 5th Board (2nd Meeting) Held in Foshan, Reviews Proposals and Sets Future Plans.
Guangdong Fastener Association Board Meeting Held
To summarize past work and chart the course for future development, the Guangdong Fastener Industry Association successfully convened the second meeting of the fifth Board of Directors on the afternoon of November 19, 2025, at Foshan Julong Metal Products Co., Ltd. The meeting was chaired by Ms. Zhang Meijiao, Secretary-General of the Association. Mr. Chen Jutian, President of the Association, Mr. Hu Jun, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, alongside core members including Executive Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents, Executive Directors, and representatives from Board member units, attended the gathering to discuss the association's development plans.
The first item on the agenda was the review and approval of the Association's financial income and expenditure report for the first three quarters of 2025. Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, Mr. Hu Jun, provided a detailed report to all attending representatives on the Association's various sources of income and expenditure breakdowns during this period. During the review, representatives unanimously recognized the importance of maintaining the Association's financial health in the current environment and emphasized the necessity of increasing income while reducing expenditure. Several leaders called upon Board member units to set a good example by actively and promptly fulfilling their membership fee obligations, thereby jointly supporting the smooth operation and sustainable development of the Association's work.
Regarding organizational development, the meeting reviewed and approved the proposed list of additions and corresponding adjustments to the Board of Directors. It was also officially announced that the second General Assembly of Members of the fifth term of the Guangdong Fastener Industry Association will be grandly held in Foshan City on December 26, 2025. Furthermore, the meeting passed resolutions on multiple position adjustments and established an important rule: enterprises from other provinces applying to join the Association must have a minimum membership tenure of one year before they are eligible to apply for Board membership. This regulation aims to ensure that Board members possess sufficient participation and contribution to the Association's affairs.
During the subsequent open discussion session, attending representatives actively contributed their insights and proposals. Some representatives advocated for establishing a more flexible and inclusive rotating roster system to stimulate greater enthusiasm for participation among members. Others proposed building an efficient internal resource-sharing mechanism to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of all member enterprises are fully protected and to promote mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.
In his concluding remarks, Mr. Chen Jutian, President of the Association, systematically introduced the major industry events and important exhibitions the Guangdong Association had recently participated in, and shared his observations and insights on the current development landscape of Guangdong's fastener industry. He specifically proposed that in the future, horizontal communication and cooperation with brother associations at provincial and municipal levels across the country should be further strengthened. By sharing resources and exchanging information, the industry can jointly address market challenges and seize development opportunities.
The meeting also featured a special sharing session. Ms. Yuan Xiaocheng from Chinese Fastener Network and Ms. Sheng Xiaoling from Guangdong Jintai Hardware Technology Co., Ltd., both representing Executive Vice President units, reported to the Board on the outcomes of their market research trip to Russia in October 2025 with the "Chinese Fastener Overseas Delegation." They highlighted that field research revealed Chinese fastener products are demonstrating significant growth potential and cooperative opportunities in the Russian market, particularly in automotive parts, high-strength standard fasteners, and small-batch customized products. They also emphasized that achieving long-term development in this market requires deepening trust with local customers and continuously enhancing the capability and level of localized services.
