Böllhoff expands in China with new Guangzhou office

As a globally recognized enterprise in the field of fastening connection solutions, Böllhoff has been steadily expanding its presence in China since entering the market in 1999. Recently, the company announced another milestone in its market development—the official opening of its Guangzhou sales office in southern China on October 21, 2025. This move marks a further refinement of Böllhoff's strategic layout in the Chinese market and establishes a new hub for serving customers in the southern region.

Looking back at Böllhoff's development journey in China, the Wuxi facility stands out as a pivotal strategic starting point. In 2004, Böllhoff established its Wuxi base in eastern China—not only its first manufacturing facility in Asia but also an integrated operations hub combining sales, production, and logistics. Over more than two decades of dedicated development, the Wuxi base has matured significantly, now employing over 330 people and consistently delivering stable, efficient services to customers in East China and surrounding regions, laying a solid foundation for Böllhoff's market presence in China.

The establishment of the new Guangzhou sales office is not an isolated market expansion move but rather a precise complement and upgrade to the existing business system. Prior to its opening, Böllhoff's core operations in mainland China were concentrated at the Wuxi base. While this facility could serve a broad geographic area, there remained room for improvement in service responsiveness and targeting—especially given the growing market demand and diverse customer needs in the southern region. Guangzhou, as the economic hub of southern China, boasts significant industrial clustering advantages, particularly in sectors with strong fastener demand such as automotive, electronics, and equipment manufacturing, where a large number of existing and potential customers are located. The opening of the new office allows Böllhoff to establish more direct and closer connections with customers in the southern region.

The newly opened Guangzhou sales office is equipped with facilities that fully align with service needs. Covering approximately 610 square meters, the office features not only core sales workspaces but also a dedicated in-house warehouse. This design goes beyond a simple sales outpost, enabling localized storage and rapid allocation of selected products. Currently, eight professional staff members are working at the location. Leveraging their proximity to the market, they can promptly capture changes in customer needs, provide more efficient communication and coordination, and deliver faster solution implementation services—significantly improving customer response efficiency.

A Böllhoff executive commented on this strategic expansion: "We previously had only one major base in China, in Wuxi.
