On the morning of October 28, 2025, a donation ceremony for practical training equipment, organized by the Yueqing Fastener Industry Association, was successfully held at the training building of Liushi Vocational and Technical School. The donated equipment, including eight cold heading machines and six thread rolling machines with a total value of 300,000 RMB, will be primarily used for practical operation teaching for students majoring in fasteners and for the assessment and training of relevant vocational skill certificates.
The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests who jointly participated in the ribbon-cutting event. Representatives from the association included President Wen Jinpu, Supervisor Zhang Huajian, Secretary Lin Feng, and Office Director Xue Xiuwen. Government officials present included Wang Xuliang, Deputy Director of the Yueqing Education Bureau; Li Mingjian, Director of the Vocational and Adult Education Section; and Zheng Cai, Deputy Mayor of Liushi Town. Liushi Vocational and Technical School was represented by Principal Chen Xiaolong and Vice Principal Huang Shizhou.
During the ceremony, President Wen Jinpu stated that the donation not only represents the association's support for vocational education but also carries deep expectations for the future talent development of the fastener industry. He emphasized that as manufacturing rapidly advances toward intelligence and precision, classroom teaching must be closely integrated with actual production. Only by engaging with real production equipment can students truly master the core technologies across the entire process—from design and molding to inspection—laying a solid foundation for becoming skilled professionals who meet industry demands.
President Wen also pointed out that Yueqing, as a vital part of China's "Electrical Capital" and "Fastener City," relies on professional talent for its sustained industrial development. Liushi Vocational and Technical School serves as a crucial platform for cultivating local fastener talent. This donation marks a new phase of deep integration and collaborative education between the association and the school, and he expressed hopes for a closer partnership to jointly promote a positive interaction between industrial development and talent cultivation.
Wang Xuliang, Deputy Director of the Yueqing Education Bureau, and Chen Xiaolong, Principal of Liushi Vocational and Technical School, expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the association's support in their speeches. They stated that the professional setup of vocational education should resonate with industrial demands. They hope this donation will further promote school-enterprise cooperation, achieve mutual empowerment between talent development and industrial growth, and provide a solid talent guarantee for the transformation and upgrading of the local economy.
Following the ceremony, the attending guests toured the school's fastener training workshop to learn about the installation and usage of the equipment, highly praising the phased achievements of the school-association cooperation. Students who were conducting practical operations in the workshop spontaneously gathered to witness the moment.
This donation is a concrete measure by the Yueqing Fastener Industry Association to deepen the integration of industry and education and support local vocational education development. By providing advanced production equipment, the association aims to help students better master practical skills and enhance their employment competitiveness, while cultivating more high-quality technical talents for the fastener industry to facilitate its sustainable development.
