From October 19 to 26, 2025, Chinese Fastener Network (Huawang) successfully organized its 9th Overseas Delegation to conduct an eight-day market study and industry exchange tour in Russia. The delegation first visited the renowned Slaviansky Mir Hardware and Building Materials Market in Moscow (also known as the 41st Kilometer Market), which is home to over 30 fastener retail stores. Through on-site visits, team members compared the differences between Chinese and Russian products in terms of materials, craftsmanship, and application scenarios, gathering firsthand market information to lay a foundation for future business expansion.

Subsequently, the delegation visited Graffast, a local fastener manufacturing company in Moscow. As a major local anchor bolt producer, the company leverages Russia's high-quality metal raw materials to achieve an annual production capacity of over 50 million fasteners. On October 21, the delegation attended the 2025 FastTec Moscow International Fastener and Hardware Exhibition. The exhibition showcased over 1,000 types of fastener products and attracted professional buyers from industries such as manufacturing and construction. Over 40 Chinese fastener companies exhibited at the event, and the Huawang team also carried out the promotion and distribution of industry magazines on-site.

The delegation also visited the Greenwood International Trade Center in Moscow. As a crucial platform for Sino-Russian economic and trade cooperation, the center provides one-stop services for resident enterprises, including exhibition, warehousing, and logistics. During a symposium with the park management, both sides had in-depth discussions on practical issues regarding fastener trade with Russia, such as logistics, customs clearance, and settlement.

In St. Petersburg, the delegation held discussions with executives from the well-known local industrial fastener distributor Tsentr Krepezhnykh Izdeliy and the editor-in-chief of the industry magazine Fasteners, Adhesives, Tools and.... During the exchange, it was learned that Russia's annual fastener demand is approximately 900,000 tons, with 60% relying on imports. The import proportion is particularly high in the high-end and customized product sectors.

Through this on-site inspection, members of the delegation gained a clearer understanding of the structure, demand, and trade environment of the Russian fastener market. Against the backdrop of continuously deepening Sino-Russian relations and advancing bilateral trade facilitation measures, the Russian market offers new development space for Chinese fastener enterprises, while also presenting practical challenges such as localization adaptation and logistics optimization.
