Chongqing's 23rd Fastener Exhibition opened with 300+ enterprises showcasing the full industry chain.

In March 2026, as spring blossoms, the mountainous metropolis of Chongqing, situated along the Yangtze River, hosted a premier professional event focused on the frontiers of manufacturing. On the morning of March 24, the 23rd Chongqing Fastener, Spring, and Equipment Exhibition, themed "New West, New Starting Point, New Future," officially opened at Hall S1 of the Chongqing International Expo Center. The opening ceremony commenced promptly at 9:30 AM. Zhang Yao, President of the Chongqing Fastener Industry Association and Chairman of Chongqing Fanglue Precision Metal Products Co., Ltd., delivered the keynote address. He further noted that the deepening of the Western Development Strategy provides unprecedented market space, urging the entire industry to work synergistically to explore this promising blue ocean market.12

Subsequently, Fan Wenwu, Executive Vice President of the Dongguan Fastener Industry Association, and Zhou Tao, Marketing Deputy Director of Chongqing Standard Parts Industrial Co., Ltd., spoke as guest representatives. Drawing on their respective companies' practical experiences, they shared effective strategies for navigating market fluctuations and achieving technological breakthroughs. They highlighted Chongqing's immense development potential, underpinned by its unique geographical advantages and solid industrial foundation within the new framework of the Western Development Strategy, and expressed strong confidence in the future high-quality development of the fastener industry.12

That afternoon, the highly anticipated "2026 Chongqing Fastener and Spring Industry Technology Innovation and High-Quality Development Exchange Conference" was held concurrently. Moderated by Mo Taiming, Secretary-General of the Chongqing Fastener Industry Association, the conference was themed "Breaking Through · Renewal · Symbiosis." These included the technological evolution of cold-heading equipment, implementation pathways for digital factories, green transformation strategies for electroplating parks, and the latest breakthroughs in hydrogen removal technology, providing actionable solutions to common industry pain points. During a special panel discussion titled "From 'Involution' to 'Breakthrough': How SME Fastener Companies Can Leverage Domestic Substitution to Overtake on the Curve," experts unanimously agreed that amid fierce market competition, SMEs must abandon traditional mindsets. Through continuous technological innovation and refined management, they should seek differentiated survival spaces in niche tracks like new energy vehicles and aerospace, striving for key breakthroughs in the domestic substitution process.12

This exhibition was not merely a concentrated display of products and technologies, but a profound integration of industry resources.
